Alex Steinleitner, M. D.
Alex Steinleitner, M. D. is the California Central Coast's only Reproductive Endocrinologist and Infertility Specialist, with an office in San Luis Obispo. Dr. Steinleitner has been caring for infertile families for over twenty years. He attended medical school at the University of California, San Diego and trained as a Reproductive Endocrinologist at the University of Southern California. His special interests include endometriosis and the treatment of patients with difficult infertility problems and repeated IVF failure. He is an expert in egg donation and children conceived in his program may be found on every continent of the globe.
In addition to his clinical career, his peers have recognized Dr. Steinleitner for his medical research efforts with major awards from the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, Pacific Coast Fertility Society, and American Gynecologic and Obstetrical Society.
Dr. Steinleitner lives in San Luis Obispo and is the father of two rambunctious girls.
