what is the difference between antagonist cycle and lupron cycle?

Hi:

Lupron is a agonist. It first stimulates, then suppresses so it needs to be started before the stimulation drugs.

Ganirelix and Cetrotide are antagonists. They suppress immediately so the stimulation can be started first, the response begins and then they are started before the LH surge starts and prevent the LH surge.
