Re: High FSH

The most likely scenario is that you misinterpreted the day the FSH was taken which is why it was higher and then you appeared to ovulate earlier but it was really consistent with your normal cycle.

Re: Hydrosalpinx

I don't know how they could diagnose a hydrosalpinx from a hysteroscopy. Did they do something else as well? In any event neither a hysteroscopy nor a egg retrieval would be likely to result in a hydrosalpinx. If you do have hydrosalpinges the important thing is that the hydro is occluded on the ute...

Re: blood results

1.625 is an OK level. There is no predicting how quickly the AMH amd FSH may change so to see what your situation is currently you would have to repeat the tests now. The estradiol level on Day 2 or 3 should be low and does not reflect your overall estrogen production at ovulation. So instead of bei...

Re: blood results

An AMH in the U.S. of 11 is very high. Maybe they use different units from wherever you are. The rest of your bloodwork needs updating before you get upset. What your FSH was years ago does not mean that it had to change over time. Get your labs redone, maybe an antral follicle count by ultrasound a...

Re: Implantation

There are not thought to be signs or symptoms of implantation since it is microscopic event including cramping. I do not know what you mean by "conception." That could refer to a lot of events in the process. Consult your ouija board to get an early indication if it worked. Otherwise...

Re: Post Coital Test Results- need clarification

The fact that there was no ferning may indicate that the timing was not ideal and thus that may be why the result is not ideal. 3 motile sperm is usually not considered to be a good test but it may be the timing. Depending on your age and how long you have been trying, they could repeat the test or ...

Re: 3 cm Uterine Septum not detected on first Sonohysterogram

The septum would have been there when you had the first sonohysterogram. It's possible for any doctor to miss and significant finding on any medical test especially if they are rushed and/or indifferent. The important issue is whether this septum is significant in whatever problem you are having. It...

Re: Sperm analysis results, need advice

The most important analysis is the strict morphology. The new normal for strict morphology is 4%, the older normal was 15%. If yours was a strict morphology you are borderline. See a specialist in male fertility and make the lifestyle changes. There could be a physical reason for the borderline stri...

Re: Ovary inaccessible

This is unusual but it happens. It's a shame when an ovary with so many promising follicles floats up and out of reach. The first egg retrievals were done laparoscopically until our Dr. Meldrum did the first ultrasound guided retrieval in the U.S, that resulted in a pregnancy. So I would suggest tha...

Re: Question for Moderators

Hi: I am sorry for the difficulty. Your original message was cut off in the middle and there was basically no information or a question. The response sent was one of a limited number of responses; the others were more inappropriate and we have been having a flood of hackers so I did not know if your...
