Re: no period despite progesterone induction

There is no way to postpone the menopause especially since those are already peri-menopausal or even menopausal levels. Unfortunately there is no fix, especially for fertility issues. You need to discuss this situation with your doctor. Arthur L. Wisot, M. D. Reproductive Partners Medical Group Redo...

Re: LUI cd9 - Clomid + injectable cycle

It looks like there is a very narrow window in you between a dose of medication that gives you one or two follicles and over stimulation. It seems prudent to me to keep you on the one vial of Gonal-F and although it may take a little longer you should achieve a mature follicle or two, hopefully not ...

Re: Mast Cell Activation/Hashimotos & Fertility

I am not an expert on the effect of MCAS on the success of egg retrieval. Since the stimulation protocol does include a GNRH agonist or antagonistic that should prevent premature ovulation In anticipation of coming to LA you can make a telephone consultation with one of the RPMG doctors in the offic...

Re: Hcg/progesterone levels

In most labs a level of 25 is positive for pregnancy. A repeated level in two days will tell you which way this is going.

The high progesterone level may be due to the fact that you ovulated three follicles from the Clomid.

I hope this works out for you.

Re: IVF Egg Collection - Trying to understand what when wrong??

This is very discouraging but it can happen even with the best IVF centers. It sounds like the follicles should have been mature from the sizes you mentioned. One possibility is that there could be an issue with the trigger injection: potency, timing, dose or administration. Another could be technic...

Re: Not sure what else to test for..?

This could be from an endometrial problem. Your doctor might want to consider doing an endometrial biopsy to see if you have chronic endometritis and do an endometrial receptivity assay to make sure your window of implantation is consistent with the day they are doing the transfer. Go to our blog an...

Re: Optimal follicle size for conception/trigger shot during clomid cycle

Like the phrase, "beauty is in the mind of the beholder," you could also say "the size at which to trigger a follicle in a Clomid cycle is in the mind of the RE." There are very varying opinions on what the best size is, which probably means it does not really matter much. But I ...

Re: Second opinion - Day 4 FET of day 5 blastocyst

1. The biopsy done for the PGS is similar to assisted hatching which can result in easier hatching in embryos with thicker zonas, not necessarily earlier hatching. 2. Apparently your doctors thinks so but I can't say because I do not know the details of their protocol. There would be no physical sig...

You would need to talk to your RPMG doctor about this option.

Re: low AMH high FSH age 41 -- any chances?

Unfortunately I cannot make specific recommendation about protocols here but any RE should be able to presecribe an aggressive protocol with your age and numbers.
