Hi, I am a 30 year old female and recently started planning my first child.

I have always had a normal periods but recently missed 2 periods in a row and hence started progesterone challenge.

Progesterone challenge month 1 :
Light spotting after 2 days of finishing Provera followed by light periods after 2 weeks oh finishing Provera

Progesterone challenge month 2 :
No spotting or bleeding

Did some lab work and observed the below ( all these tests were done on day 60 since I did not get periods after sep 10)

Fsh : 12.1
Estradiol : 330
AMH : <0.1
Progesterone : 0.3

I understand I have Dimished ovarian reserve and very low AMH. Do you think I should still try conceiving with my own eggs ? Or donor eggs is the only option ?

FSH

Hi Anupsen,

I strongly advise to discuss these findings with a reproductive endocrinologist as soon as possible. This depends on many factors. Your age of 30 may be an advantage and you may succeed using your own eggs but you may need the help of an RE to do so. The key thing here would be not to wait too long and start treatments soon.

Best of luck!
