I have a few questions about FET...I have 3-5 embryos that I have cryopreserved from last year that I would like to have transferred.
Firstly I have read a little bit about doing natural FET cycles. Do you know anything about this procedure vs the medicated procedure? Would you recommend doing it this way? Why? Why/not?
Also what is the procedure for a medicated cycle - for example if I am about to ovulate in this cycle right now when could I hope to do a transfer (either medicated or natural)
Many thanks!
Frozen Embryo Transfer (FET) questions
Re: Frozen Embryo Transfer (FET) questions
A lot of success in reproduction has to do with control. A medicated cycle give you more control over timing so I prefer it.
A natural cycle sounds appealing but so far nature obviously has not worked too well for you.
A medicated cycle starts with your period, a couple of weeks of estrogen and when the endometrium is thick enough and you have not ovulated, you start progesterone and the transfer is scheduled based on the age of your embryos.
