For my first FET, my culture showed that I had strep B. I took antibiotics which cleared prior to my transfer.
I again have strep B, in which my doctor plans on running a longer course of antibiotics and doing a re-culture before I begin my second transfer.
Is this a common issue?
If I do not treat this, would this negatively affect my frozen transfer?
Thank you
Strep B
Re: Strep B
Strep B is not something that is usually routinely tested for before IVF.

Re: Strep B
has research shown that Strep B can negatively affect a transfer?
My doctor seems to want to order every lab possible.
Thanks

Re: Strep B
I am not aware of any evidence that Strep B has any effect on IVF.
