Trigger shot / positive pregnancy test

So I took a 10,000 unit pregnyl trigger shot on may 9th. Egg retrieval was on the 11th and my fresh transfer was on may 16th. Yesterday I took a test and got a pretty dark line but I wanted to know if it could still be the trigger shot. It was 4dp5dt. It just seems so dark to be a trigger still

In general, the hcg trigger injection can last in the system and be detected on a urine pregnancy test up until approximately 10 days after it is given. There are some rare occasions when it might even be detected after 10 days, such as for somebody who metabolizes hormones more slowly. Since your positive pregnancy test was more than 10 days after the trigger injection, let's hope it's a true result!
