48 with one child. Would like to try for another baby. I know at 48 the chances of conceiving are low. I am currently taking prenatal vitamins but I know that is only a small part to helping conceive. What other things can I take or do to increase my chances?

I wish I could give you better news, but you said it yourself, "the chances of conceiving are low."

I would recommend you see a real fertility specialist and let the doctor assess your ovarian reserve to see if this is worth pursuing.

The option that will be open for you for some time is egg donation but short of that the chance for a heaslthy live birth is very small.
