unexplained infertility

Post by pno1 »

I am 38 and my husband is 25. We have been trying for 2 years to get pregnant. We have done all the testing which showed that no reason for my failure to conceive. I have now done 7 rounds of clomid-the last 4 at the 100mg dosage. I have a twin sister that is currently 7 months pregnant after only 2 months of trying. I do not know what to do. What is the most proactive course of action I can take to get pregnant? I am a teacher and I know I will not be able to get another loan to try again.

Thank you for any guidance you can provide.

Hi

Your best strategy is to see a reproductive endocrinologist with a copy of all the testing and treatment you have had so far. You have more than used up your chances with Clomid and would need to move on to more sophisticated testing and/or treatment.

Good luck.
