Intercourse after IUI while on Progesterone

Is having intercourse after IUI and while on Prometrium (vaginal insertion) okay? My IUI was on Monday, Oct 17th and I began 200MG of Prometrium (twice per day) this morning. A friend suggested that the contractions r/t orgasm could pose a potential threat to implantation.

We usually do not advise against having intercourse after an IUI.

Look at it this way: you are helping to spread the Prometrium.
