Tylenol affects on BBT

Post by mparziale »

Hello,

My wife and I have been charting for the first time this month. We are on our 4th iui try and the month after month devastation is taking a toll on us. I'm 40 and my wife is 38 (She's the one conceiving). My question is she is 12 dpo and this morning her temp to a .6 degree drop below her coverline. She took Tylenol last night for the first time this month for a headache. My question is: Is this a sign that AF is coming or can the Tylenol affect her temperature to that degree? Remaining hopeful...but very cautiously. Thank you! :?

The temperature method is not all that accurate beyond suggesting you ovulated that I could tell you the reason for the dip.

So there is really no value in doing it at this point. In fact you are stressed and this is making you more stressed so I recommend you stop temping unless your doctor recommended you do it in which case I would ask him/her what it means.
