Hello,
My husband and have gone though 1 cycle of IVF. our sperm was obtained by MESA, and we had 3 early miscarriages, (the fresh transfer lasted the longest). we are currently going through recombine and karyotype testing so far everything seems to be coming back okay, what else could be going wrong? Can the sperm itself be tested?
Thanks
Genetic testing
Re: Genetic testing
The most sensible course would be to do PGS on the embryos before transfer. A karyotype on you and your husband would make sure you are not translocation carriers.
If the embryos have normal karyotypes I do not know of anything you can do additionally to test the sperm.

Re: Genetic testing
Actually there is something else you can do to test the sperm- a Sperm Chromatin Structure Assay (SCSA) to test the fragmentation of the DNA.
