Can I be a gestational surrogate if my own two children were born at 37 weeks with low birth weights (around 5lbs), but otherwise healthy (left the hospital on time, no NICU, etc.)?

Generally we are looking for the perfect carrier to become a surrogate.

If you are interested in becoming a surrogate, they can evaluate your history to try to determine the cause of the early deliveries and low-birth-weight babies. Were they because of something inherent in the babies or in your uterus. If they cannot tell which they probably would not select you as a surrogate but there is no harm in exploring it.
