Clomid Days 3-7 vs 5-9

I am curious why some Drs prescribe Clomid on days 3-7 and others prescribe it on days 5-9. Is there a benefit in egg quality or quantity in one or the other? Thanks in advance.
It's like the old Doublemint gum commercials. "Some call it a spear; some call it an arrow."
Many studies have shown no difference in the effectiveness in the two regimens. I think doctors just use the one they were originally taught.
