Lap vs ivf

Hi my case is i have blockage of both fallopian tube and i went to kaiser coz my dr wants to do laparoscopy first and then ivf after however my kaiser dr doesnt wanna do it he recommends to do straight ivf coz its money cost for lap n its not 90 % guaranteed il get pregnant aftr the procedure . I dont know what to do please answer my question thank you

Hi:

One good reason to do a laparoscopy before IVF is if your tubes are blocked and hold fluid. If that's the case then the fluid can leak back into the uterus and reduce your chance of success by 50%. Other than than that or severe endometriosis, most doctors do not recommend laparoscopy before IVF.

Dr thank u for your reply we went there at redondo beach clinic on our first consultation are we still gonna pay for another consultation if we will just show dr meldrum my film on my hysterosalpigography result and check on it
