Dear Dr. Wisot,

I'm almost 37 years old (regular 28-30 day cycles) and I have been experiencing ovulation pain for a couple of years as far as I can remember. It's a typical ovulation pain(from what I read online); lasts for less 24 hours, not severe pain but the atypical part is that I feel it all over the lower abdomen or both ovaries. I read that ovulation pain is usually only on one side. Have you heard this before? Is this normal?

This is really not a topic for this board but what I can say is that the pattern of pain, if not typical, could indicate some issue in your pelvis. A vaginal ultrasound by your GYN might give you some answers.
