Hi

I have hypo thyroid and very very irregular and long cycles, I want to know if I have PCOS? My Endocrinologist says I don't. But I can't trust my doctors , somehow. Please can anyone tell me? I am TTC for about 3months but no Luck since no ovulation happening at all. Are there any tests that can determine to see if I am ovulating or not? Where can I get antral follicle count by doing a vaginal ultrasound scan?

My test Results of LH, FSH, Testosterone, Insulin and Thyroid levels as follows:

Current 2012:

FSH 2.1

LH 5.8

Testosterone 31.1

Insulin 7

TSH 4/20/2012 0.88

TSH 6/30/2012 0.69

My cycles for the last 6 months: Very irregular

july 2nd 2012 (I have not gotten my period yet)

Hi:
No one can tell you if you have PCOS just by this lab work.

We can do an ultrasound to evaluate you and get you started ovulating.

It's just a plain vaginal ultrasound which can be done with the new patient visit.

I do not see patients in the Westminster office but Dr. Cassidenti and Dr. Yee see new patients there and they can help you. Please bring a copy of all the labs that have been done previously.
