Hi Dr. Wisot,

In a low stim COH approach to prepare for a FET, once the lining is at optimal thickness if there is not yet a surge on ovulation predictor kits, can you just skip ovulation completely and immediately start progesterone and then do the egg transfer 5 days later, or do you still need to use an hcg trigger for ovulation, and then plan the transfer for 5 days after ovulation, so 7 days after the trigger?

They can actually do either, start progesterone before you ovulate or use HCG to trigger ovulation and then time the transfer based on day of ovulation.
