FET after successful fresh IVF

We were blessed to conceive a healthy baby girl through IVF at your LaJolla office a little over a year ago. I stopped breastfeeding our daughter over three months ago but have not yet started ovulating/having periods. Prior to getting pregnant I was ovulating regularly. We would like to start the process of trying for baby number two through FET. My question is, do I need to be ovulating/having periods to start a Frozen cycle? Also, we have 5 "good" quality day 5 embryos being stored. The one day 5 embryo we successfully transferred was "excellent." Are my chances of pregnancy lower with a "good" quality embryo than with an "excellent" one. We would like to do a single embryo transfer again but I'm wondering if two "good" embryos give us a better chance? Thanks in advance.

You do not need to be ovulating to start and FET cycle.

I don't know the details of your case or the details of the quality of your embryos to make a recommendation of how many to transfer. Your doctor in La Jolla can do that.
