Spotting during IVF stims

I started taking follistim and menopur on day 5 of my cycle for IVF. I have been on stimulation meds for 4 days and am still experiencing some light brown discharge like I usually get at the end of my period as well as some minor cramping. I will go in for my first e2 and ultrasound on day 6 of stims. I'm just curious if this spotting/brown discharge is normal? I was under the impression estrogen levels should stop my from shedding any lining? Any insight is much appreciated.
