High FSH

Hi,

I'm 30 years old and last month my doctor told me that I have elevated FSH levels. My levels were 11.20.
The doctor put me on 5mg femara and we were supposed to do IUI but it did not happen this month. My husbands sperm levels are good. So my question is it possible for us to conceive with femara without the help of IUI? and is my FSH levels a big concern.

Thank You
Sara

The IUI is irrelevant to the issue of the FSH. With that FSH you could conceive naturally or with the help of Femara.

With the FSH issue, if you don't conceive quickly, you need more tests to evaluate the entire issue of your ovarian reserve and probably should be under the care of a real fertility specialist is you are not already.

Thank for your fast response, it really helped. This is my first month on Femara so I'm hopeful.
