My husband and I both had fertility tests done but need direction as to whether or not we need to see a specialist. He's 43 and I am 35.
We have been trying to conceive for a year.
Can someone please give their honest opinion and explain what this means?
Thank you!

Hi. Since you have been trying to conceive for a year, I would recommend that you see a reproductive endocrinologist and/or your gynecologist. In general, a fertility evaluation is recommended for women who fail to achieve a pregnancy after 12 months or more of regular unprotected intercourse. For women older than 35 years old, an evaluation may be appropriate after 6 months of trying. The physician who ordered your testing should be able to go over the results of your testing with you.
