Blastocyst quality vs Chromosome problems

Hi,
I have 8 embryos that have reached Blastocysts (from 12 embryos). I am 44y.

Please could you advise if there is a correlation between the quality of the embryos and the likelihood that they will be chromosomally normal?

Of the 8 embryos 2 are top quality, 5 good and 1 average. How many should I expect to be chromosomally normal?

Many thanks.

Unfortunately, the embryo quality does not always correlate with whether or not the embryo is chromosomally normal. In general, female age is a better predictor of the chances of having a normal embryo. As women age, the percentage of normal embryos created from an IVF cycle declines.
