RPMG’s Dr. Wisot quoted in Life & Style

RPMG's Dr. Arthur Wisot was quoted in the October 25th issue of Life & Style magazine in a story about reality TV personality Bethenny Frankel's premature baby, Bryn. She was born prematurely and weighed 4 pounds, 12 ounces.

Dr Wisot was asked to comment on the immediate risks to a newborn that size. He stated, :Breathing and feeding problems are the two things you'd likely encounter."

The fertility connection: Although we do not know how Ms. Frankel conceived or if she even needed assistance, this points out the benefit of trying to avoid prematurity and its problems by, for example, limiting the number of embryos transferred in IVF cycles.

Despite her prmaturity, we are happy to hear the Bryn is reportedly doing well.
