Carrie Melissa Wambach, M.D.
Dr. Wambach completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology, followed by a three-year fellowship specializing in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of California, Los Angeles. She is board certified in both Obstetrics and Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.
Preserving fertility for cancer patients was what first interested Dr. Wambach in reproductive medicine. Once immersed in the field she found that she loved every aspect of it. The final part of her training was experiencing the resolution of her own infertility. The treatment resulted in her and her husband’s son Jack.
Her current interests in the field include recurrent miscarriage, premature ovarian failure and reproductive immunology. Her work was published in Reproductive Immunology.
Dr. Wambach was recently recognized as a “rising star” and Super Doctor in LA magazine and is very active in fundraising for the March of Dimes.
When not working Dr. Wambach enjoys spending time with her family, reading and rooting for her undergraduate alma mater the Michigan Wolverines.
