Really high E2 level before starting

I have just had what seems to me to be a very unusual blood result.
I have been on 20mg/day progesterone tablets for about 20 days since my last cycle and am doing a back to back cycle.
For the last 7 days I have been on E2 priming using 5mg/day pessaries.
i had a blood test today and my E2 was 4800 p/mol and P4 3.6. This E2 seems really high as my last cycle at this time was just 600 p/mol E2.
How can this be and could it be detrimental to my cycle/egg quality?
Or is this quite a normal level after 7 days of E2 priming?
