The last time I was in the office, i was told to take Provera to start my menstrual so that I can go get blood work done to check hormones. That visit was before my biopsy. Endometrial biopsy came back abnormal and an IUD was prescribed. It's been 6 months since IUD and about to get another biopsy. If results come back normal, should I ask my specialist to remove IUD so that I can start Provera and Hormone tests? Would the Provera work if I had an IUD for the last 6 months?

Also, I don't get regular menstrual cycles.

Once your doctor feels it's safe for you to have the IUD removed, all you need to do is wait a couple of weeks to get your hormone tests.

Since you are apparently not ovulating you can do them at a random time. The AMH test is not dependent on the time of the cycle anyway. The estradiol result will validate the FSH if it's low enough. The Provera does not affect the results; all is does is cause bleeding.
