Low Progesterone and Suppositories after Clomid

I recently found out I am pregnant after using Clomid. I found out my progesterone was very low at 5 weeks (8.5…down from 12 two days earlier). The doctor told me it was most likely a nonviable pregnancy, but she would give me progesterone suppositories just in case. Two days after starting the progesterone, my blood progesterone level went up to 21. Can these progesterone supplements give you inflated numbers that aren't true to the health of your pregnancy, or is this a good sign? I'm just worried that I'm prolonging a nonviable pregnancy.

Most vaginal progesterone supplements do not substantially raise the blood levels. And you can have a good pregnancy with remarkably low progesterone levels.

So maybe your pregnancy is a good one and the progestrone levels just kicked in. Let's hope so. :?

Let us know how it turns out.
