Hi Dr. Wisot,
I went through a successful IVF cycle in Feb 2011 and had a baby girl (THANK YOU!!!). My husband and I are starting to plan for baby number 2 and I had a question about breastfeeding and FET.
How long do I have to stop breastfeeding my daughter before I can start a FET cycle? Is this something that I could do immediately (like stop one week and then start a cycle the next week) or would it have to be planned far in advance (stop nursing now and in three months start a cycle?
Thank you
Breastfeeding and FET
Re: Breastfeeding and FET
Hi Kerri:
A month is probably long enough. We can do a blood test for the hormone prolactin to make sure it is back to normal.
