Are the following results indicative of an impending ovulation?
On cycle day 10: LH = 49, E2 = 101, P4 = 1.5?
There is a 17mm follicle detected on U/S.
Thank you.
midcycle hormone levels
Re: midcycle hormone levels
Yes. They are consistent with an impending ovulation. The progesterone may rise a little bit before ovulation.

Re: midcycle hormone levels
Dr Wisot, I asked you recently about my mid-cycle lab results. A week ago my LH was 49, E2 = 101, and P4 = 1.5. There was a 17mm follicle, so the ovulation seemed impending. However, 5 days later, the P4 level dropped to 0.9, and LH to 33. The growing follicle increased to 20mm on day 4 after the initial reading.
Apparently I did not ovulate by now. What may be the cause? Would a progesterone supplement have helped to have a successful ovulation?

Hmmm. Strange.
There is no way to interpret these findings from here except the chronic high LH without ovulation could be an indication you are acting like PCOS or a high stress level could be interfering with your ovulation.
Your doctor will have to figure this one out.
