Spermatocele

My husband was recently diagnosed with a spermatocele above his right testicle. When tensed up, it is about a 1/2 inch to 1 inch and looks like a small testicle. It doesn't feel like there is any liquid. When he is relaxed, it is not noticeable at all.

Will this reduce his sperm count or affect his fertility?

Instead of speculating just simply have the doctor who diagnosed the spermatocele order a semen analysis.
