Low testosterone level

My hubby was just diagnosed with low testosterone and prescribed testosterone injections. We are trying to conceive our 2nd child (for 5 months now) and I have heard this will diminish his sperm count. Is this accurate and is there something he can supplement with to increase sperm production while in the testosterone shots? (I am 35 and he is 40)

He should have repeat levels to make sure the injections are not driving the levels above the normal range. If they remain in the normal range it should not significantly affect his sperm count. And you should monitor that too.
