Me and my wife want a baby.
She had a clamp put on her tubes 5 years ago.
I had a vasectomy about 3 years ago.
Me and my wife decided we really wanted to have a baby or preferably twins.
In our debate we are stuck between both of us getting reverses or doing invetro.
Which would be better and possibly less expensive?
We like the idea of reversal because we can have more later however we are in our 30s so not a lot of time left.
Thank you for any advice that you can provide.
Invetro or reversal
Re: Invetro or reversal
Hi:
Since both of you would need surgery I think in vitro would be better. If the vasectomy has been in place for more than 5 years, the results from reversal are poorer. If you want more than one child you can freeze extra embryos from an IVF cycle to be used in future years or if the first cycle does not work.
If it was just one of you, doing one reversal would be more realistic.
