If a couple has had 2 miscarriages after iui, would it be time to start thinking about ivf?

Hi:
If you are conceiving with IUI, IVF in itself would not prevent miscarriage. What you need are some tests to see if there is a recurring cause for the miscarriages.
If the cause is found to be an increased chance of chromosomal abnormalities, then in some circumstances IVF with pre-implantation genetic screening (PGS)might be helpful.
