I got a vasectomy when I was 23 and had it reversed 1 year ago when I was 28, I am 29 now and my wife is 27. I get the results back from me semen analysis and they are :
Volume- 4cc
Count- 12.3 million
Sperm abnorm forms- 33%
Sperm liquefaction- yes
Sperm ph- 8
Motility 2 hr- 30%
Motility 6-8 hr- 4%
My question is what are the chances or normal pregnancy? If assistance is needed what would you recommend, IUI or IVF and why?
Thanks!
Semen Analysis Results
Re: Semen Analysis Results
Hi:
With the low count and low longer term motility you might eventually have to do IVF with ICSI but at your young ages a trial of IUI might succeed.
Good luck.

Re: Semen Analysis Results
The analysis I listed before was from 7 months ago. I just got a new analysis and the results are:
Count - 60 million
Molility - 40%
Ab Normal - 5%
Bases on these new results what are your thoughts on conceiving a child naturally?

Re: Semen Analysis Results
Hi:
You did not indicate the time of the 40% motility or the grade. Also no one has only 5% abnormally shaped sperm. I would recommend you get a semen analysis from a fertility center where they will give you a longer term motility and "strict" morphology to see how many are really normally shaped.
