IVF after tubal removal
IVF after tubal removal
I had both my tubes removed after 2 healthy and normal pregnancy and deliveries. I am 30 years old and in good health. I would like to have another baby, preferably a boy, with the same man. Are my chances high to get pregnant on the first round of IVF?
Re: IVF after tubal removal
Yes, it sounds like your chances of conceiving a pregnancy with a single round of IVF would be high. The biggest predictor of success with IVF is actually the woman’s age. Since you are young and without any other fertility issues other than having your tubes tied, it seems that you would do well with IVF. My suggestion would be to have a consultation with a reproductive endocrinologist to assess your egg reserve. That would give you a better idea of how successful you might be. Good luck!
