Clomid>>cyst
On my day 5 ultrasound a cyst was found that measured 11 or 12 (after 1st round of clomid cycle). I'm very nervous about this. I was told by a nurse that cysts are not uncommon, is this correct? Is it likely the cyst will go away just like any other follicle and is relatively painless? I was told I may continue with the clomid for CD5-9... At what point should a break from clomid take place in relation to cysts? Thanks.

Hi:
11 or 12 mm is not usually considered a significant size in terms of a cyst. For some doctors it my be too big to start another cycle of Clomid but others muight go ahead and start at that size. It is not really a "problem" and is likely be gone by the next cycle.
