Getting pregnant after miscarriage
Getting pregnant after miscarriage
Is it possible to become pregnant the month after miscarrying? I became pregnant after my first IUI but unfortunately ended up miscarrying. Because it was successful so quickly would you suggest continuing with the IUI route? How common is it for a second pregnancy to continue through to term after a miscarriage?
Re: Getting pregnant after miscarriage
Hi:
Having one miscarriage generally does not increase one's risk of another. Anyone's risk is based on their age.
Conceiving with an IUI does not increase the risk and if an IUI has been successful in getting one pregnant, we would generally go back to IUI unless there were other issues.
Your doctor can tell you when he/she thinks it\'s OK for you to start trying again.
Good luck.
