Letrozole Treatment
Letrozole Treatment
I have PCOS and my doctor put me on 2 rounds of Letrozole, The 1st time I didnt respond, but the second time when I went to my 14 day scan, he found a few folicals and said that my lining looked good. I went then to have a 21 day progesterone blood test and that was really low. He told me that I would feel a pain in my side which I did and I had intercourse every 36 hours like I was told. Does the progesterone level mean that I did not ovulate? Could I have still gotten pregnant? Please help!
Re: Letrozole Treatment
Hi:
A lot depends on the actual level of progesterone. "Really low" could mean that you did not ovulate of that you did ovulate but with poor progesterone production. In either case it's a problem that would make a successful pregnancy unlikely.
Good luck.
