I am 30 and my husband is 29.
I have severe endometriosis (5-6 cm endometrioma on right ovary) and my husband has teratospermia (Kruger test results: 26/41/1).
We have been TTC for six months, no success. Is it worth it for us to continue to TTC naturally?
Thanks very much in advance.
Worth it to wait for natural conception?
Re: Worth it to wait for natural conception?
With those issues I would go now to a real fertility specialist and not spend more time getting frustrated.

Re: Worth it to wait for natural conception?
It has been frustration galore for us
These findings are from our fertility clinic, but our doctor gave us few recommendations for what to do next:
- Oophorectomy and then TTC naturally
- IVF-ICSI with lupron
- No surgery, just continue to TTC naturally
He left it up to us what we decide and now we are very confused.
Thanks.

Re: Worth it to wait for natural conception?
Then it's time for a second opinion. Waiting is not right for you and although I do not know the exact condition of your ovary most REs would not be taking the ovary out, removing the endometrioma at most, or going right to IVF without surgery.

Re: Worth it to wait for natural conception?
Thanks for the responses.
Based on your knowledge, would you know whether endometriosis and/or teratospermia negatively impact IVF ICSI success or not?
Thanks.

Re: Worth it to wait for natural conception?
They could be but there are ways of overcoming those issues.
