Hi there,
I have a question about hcg levels:
14 dpo in a Clomid/IUI cycle my beta level was 67.
48 hrs later it is 105. I was told not to be too hopeful as the level should have doubled 48 hrs later. However, from what I have been reading, hcg levels can double every 48-72 hrs in early pregnancy. Is that correct? How worried should I be? I am scheduled for repeat labs in 2 days which seems like an eternity as I worry and fret about this.
Thank you!
beta Hcg levels
Re: beta Hcg levels
Hi:
Doubling is an easy way to think about it but the minimum it should go up is 66.67%. Of course we prefer that it be above the minimum.
Yours was up 57%. I would not draw a definite conclusion by one 48 hour interval. But if the next one is not up a good solid amount I would be concerned.
Hopefully it will work out. After all, this is the season of miracles.
Good luck.
