Hi Dr. Wisot,
What would my chances be of becoming pregnant naturally at age 47 (48 in April)? Have you ever seen it happen?
At age 42 I was unsuccessful on 4 medicated IUI attempts, and had an unsuccessful IVF.
At age 46 I underwent a donor egg cycle and now have a happy, healthy little boy who is 9 months thanks to the wonderful doctors and nurses and embryologists at Reproductive Partners.
It is my thought that my chances are pretty much zero and birth control is not needed.

I am so glad to hear that we helped.
A pregnancy at 47 would be in the miracle category. We never say never but it's as close to never as you can get. We do see occasional pregnancies at that age but they are generally in women who already have a flock of kids.
